God never leaves us in the dark. The person who will give up their personal opinions and accept God’s revelation will always see clearly so as to never be taken by surprise!
Introduction to Chapter 11:
AFTER THE FLOOD WE ONCE AGAIN HAVE THE APPEARANCE OF NEPHILIM. There is no need to debate how that happened, we just know from biblical record and archeology that it did occur. Goliath is the most recognizable Nephilim after the Flood. We also know they were in Canaan opposing the children of Israel. There is also Og, the King of Bashan, and four other giants that fought against the children of Israel (2 Samuel 20:21-22). These are just a few of the many references to giants after the Flood.

God sees the end from the beginning and it is impossible for us to understand all the factors in His wisdom. Our job is to “not lean to our own understanding” – to trust and obey. I’m not talking about a legalistic obedience that seeks to earn something from God. I’m talking about a trust that is based on an absolute knowledge of the love of God that leads to faith and obedience. There will be no formula for overcoming in the end times. There is no one-size-fits-all plan. God will speak to every man and those who have ears to hear will hear. Those who have a heart to trust and obey will overcome. Those who judge God’s leadership based on carnal humanistic philosophies will be overthrown.
Today the corrupt governments of the world, under the deception of the Great Harlot, are presenting Islam as a peace-loving nation. They hide the true teaching of Islam. They seek to use Islam to fulfill their own desire to stamp out all knowledge of Jehovah. The Jihadists are the perfect proxy for their evil intentions. What these corrupt governments fail to understand is this is something they cannot control. In the end the beast (antichrist nations) will destroy the Harlot. Those who follow her will lose the wealth they crave and economic control of the nations.
We must not allow the Humanist, Socialist, Luciferian philosophies of the world to influence our perception. God’s warning to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers is not a call to self-righteousness or rejection of everyone with whom you disagree. It is actually a warning against allowing people to influence your beliefs.
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness (iniquity)? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? (2 Corinthians 6:14-15)
Paul draws a comparison between believers and unbelievers, light and darkness, Christ and Belial (Satan). The key word in this passage is “communion.” The word “communion” means “to share something in common.” Our communion is with Christ. We share in His death, burial, and resurrection, and we share God’s Word – His light.
Satan was perfect until iniquity was found in him (Ezekiel 28:15). This was the birth of his rebellion. Iniquity is always about pride and rebellion. Whether it is a corrupt government passing laws that reject God’s standards or a school that teaches as fact scientific information that contradicts God’s Word or a believer who, in the name of love and compassion, tries to influence us with humanistic philosophy, we must withdraw and guard our heart. We are not called to attack, criticize, or reject those people; however, we must not allow them to influence our beliefs, behavior, or thinking. Deception doesn’t begin by believing a lie; it begins in a conversation with a liar.
When Communists seek to overthrow a country they spend years and billions of dollars in a campaign of demoralization. This is done by the media, specifically the news sources. The media slants content to make those who embrace God’s morals and values look corrupt or ignorant. Then they corrupt the courts and we accept a perversion of justice. The entertainment industry provides our imagination with every form of evil. But the crowning jewel of demoralization is the educational system. A nation will fall when just one generation is completely brainwashed by false science, Socialism, and Humanism and that.
Once immorality and dishonesty is an accepted way of life those citizens will be ready to cast off what they view as the tyrannical, restrictive oppression of God’s morals and ethics. As sin destroys the morals, economy, judicial system, and other foundations of righteousness, new, more ungodly alternatives will be introduced, offering false hope. “If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do” (Psalm 11:2)?
Morality, ethics, love, and honesty are not the rules of an unreasonable dictator; they are the pathway to life. No matter who does what and no matter the cost, stay committed to the Lord Jesus, God the Father, and His values (commands). When you fail, accept His forgiveness, get up, learn your life lesson, and move on! We, like Israel, are surrounded on all sides by those who would force us to compromise. The Church is finally waking up to realize the wicked do not want to peacefully coexist; they want to eradicate us, our values, and any mention of our God! If we compromise we will lose our confidence before God and our ability to hear and trust God will be lost!
As darkness grows the grace of God is abounding. Sometimes we get so vexed by the emerging darkness we forget the promise of Scripture: “Where sin abounds grace does much more abound” (Romans 5:20). We will not become a weak impotent Church in the face of our archenemy. We will abound in the grace of God! We will reach all who hunger and thirst for righteousness. We will experience an inner strength that surpasses the outer threat! We will usher in the second coming of our King. No matter how great the power and influence of all those nations aligned with the conspiracy of evil they will be overcome by the Lamb and those who are with Him! What a glorious victory we will enjoy!
